Photography & Filming
Jeter Farmhouse is a private historic residence. Standard bookings are for personal, private stays and do not include commercial photography, filming, or styled shoots.
If you're hoping to use the home for bridal prep, getting-ready photos, styled portraits, content creation, or any other commercial shoot, we're often happy to make an exception — we just ask that you reach out before booking so we can arrange it properly.
Approved shoots include
A signed photography addendum and liability release, completed by both the booking guest and the photographer
House rules for the shoot — no moving furniture or decor, no open flame, and an agreed limit on headcount
At this time, in lieu of a fee, we ask for a small number of final images shared with us for our own promotional use
During the shoot, we ask that:
- No open flame, candles, sparklers, fog machines, confetti, rice, or glitter be used in or around the home.
- All makeup, styling, and any products that could stain (spray tan, dye, wine, etc.) stay confined to designated areas, protected with drop cloths.
Shoots booked without prior approval are considered a violation of our house rules and may result in an additional charge or early termination of the stay.
Have a shoot in mind? Reach out at Jeterfarmhouse@gmail.com or 903-393-5122 before you book, and we'll take good care of you.

A Note on the Trains
Gladewater has been a railroad town for over 150 years, and the tracks run directly across the street from the Farmhouse. Trains pass at all hours, on no set schedule. Many guests find the sound charming and nostalgic — we simply want you to know before you arrive. Sound machines are provided in every bedroom for a restful night's sleep.
